It was an ambitious plan. Guy Fawkes would blow King James back to his Scottish mountains. His fellow conspirators abduct the royal children and incite a revolt. Unfortunately for Fawkes, there is always someone in the group who can't keep their big mouth shut.

At least Fawkes gets his own holiday .

Hear, hear, Genghis. Try to imagine the rest of English history if Fawkes had succeeded. A penny for the Old Guy.

I was pulling for old Guy to get the job done. King James was a stuffy bore and needed blowing up.
