12/05/2006 | I have a Z60t, it's 14 inches WXGA (wide screen 1280x768), Pentium M 1.6, 2 gig of ram, 60 gigs of HD.
I use it now with Kubuntu 6.10, no problems on hardware detection, everything works fine. I've tested it with OpenSuse 10, FC5 and FC6 and had no problems with hardware detection except for FC6, it didn't detect and I could not find a way to install my wireless card, it's an Atheros.
I'm completely satisfied with this computer and would recommended it to almost anyone except for gaming and for graphic design because of the screen resolution. For a laptop that size you need to go with the Sony VIAO for a better screen resolution.
Battery life is good, I have gone with the bigger battery and one in the bay drive as well so I can get 5-6 hours of battery life.
