12/08/2006 | Six speeds, tight transmission, small steering wheel, can go as fast as 180 mph, and from 0 to 60 mph in 5 seconds... When driving this car, I easily forget I'm sitting in a sedan instead of a sports car. It's a little race car. I'm in love!

12/06/2006 | I'm the proud owner of a 2007 GTI. After ten productive years, my 1996 VW Golf was on its last legs. I went in to buy another Golf (they're calling them Rabbits now), but for the heck of it, decided to test drive the GTI. I was immediately hooked. It's such a tight little car, and unlike the Golf, is a 200hp turbocharged beast in a four cylinder engine. So far driving in SF has been very frustrating, as I haven't been able to push the car at all yet. Plenty of time for that, I guess.
