While I'll concede that moving items from one list to another should be done rarely and judiciously, I do see some real advantages. A prime example is when I discover that a one hit wonder actually had two charting singles, so the song needs to be moved to my two hit wonder list. Currently, I have to delete the item and recreate on the other list, resulting in the ratings and comments being frozen or otherwise placed in limbo. Moving would at least salvage this activity, acknowledging that the ratings and comments could have been different on the correct list. Moving items is also an alternative to splitting or merging existing lists (a feature that isn't presently available to weblists). The bottom line is that while this suggestion should probably be a lower priority, I like it.
