12/20/2006 | Rascal Flatts' music is more like pop with a country twist. They are the type of country musicians who can help make fans out of people who don't normally listen to country. I agree that their "Life is a Highway" was an awful rendition of that song, but they have produced a lot of hits in a very short period of time. I don't love all of their songs, but they are consistently pretty good.

12/19/2006 | I wish these guys would disappear. But for some reason people seem to love this wanna-be boy band crap. It seems like every time I turn on the radio I hear one of their annoying songs. They can't even do justice to good songs. "Skin" would have been a great song if recorded by someone with talent. And their remake of "Life is a Highway" is just awful. If you want to hear a great country remake of that song, listen to the one by Chris LeDoux.
