Don't ever buy a Tom Tom. I did really like the unit, except that it seemed to take a long tome sometimes to find satellites. Then it stopped working. And it was out of warranty. Not only will they refuse to fix it when it is out of warranty, they won't even give a referral to someone who will! Meanwhile, Garmin, when the unit is out of warranty, charges a flat $89 to fix-no matter what is wrong.

We replaced our Tom-Tom with a Garmin Nuvi.

As a general rule, Tom-Tom customer service is difficult to reach and terrible when you do.

Don't buy a Tom-Tom-there are enough other brands out there to choose from.
