12/22/2006 | Didn't make it there this year,but they do have a fantastic bargain section where I've gotten the sweetest deals on really nice books I've given to folks who were really pleased with their gifts over the years.

12/12/2006 | I usually end up at a Barnes and Noble at some point during the holiday season, but I don't know if I will make it there this Christmas. The location I usually visit is near family, and my wife and I won't be spending as much time there this Christmas.

12/11/2006 | I often buy my cards here because they have a unique selection. They do tend to be afraid of the word "Christmas" however which kind of irks me. Still, they have a nice array of gifts along with every book imaginable. It's a fun place to pick up little tid bits.

12/10/2006 | Barnes and Noble and Borders are equally great stores. I like that Barnes and Noble has Coffee corner inside and much more sitting place than Borders. Both stores are great!

12/10/2006 | A great place to enjoy a good book or magazine and not even buy them. Also a good place for a nice beverage and snack while you read.

12/10/2006 | we did do some Christmas shopping here. We bought three gift cards so the gift getters can buy what they want. a lot of people like to read so if they do a book store may be the answer. we prefer getting the gift cards so they can choose what they want. a little side note for any one who may live in Michigan. Stick with Barnes and Noble. avoid a bookstore called Schuler. some of them only like to cater to the rich looking white people. and are rude to blacks, hispanic and asians and poor looking whites. it may depend on the store. but Schuler can be rude to customers if you do not look upperclass enough.
