I like Borders WAY better than Barnes and Noble, but really prefer the small used book stores. They have more character and you can find really cool stuff. I once found Fulcanelli's art history guide for $3.35 at a used book shop - in HARD COVER! Score :)

They have a great selection of books,CDs,DVDs,calanders etc.I really like the fact that you can listen to CDs over headphones before buying them there, too. They definately have something there for just about everyone on my list.

I like shopping at book stores for the holidays, because it is this time of year that many writers chose to publish in order to maximize sales. You can also usually find magazines, music, and movies to find gifts for most people easily. The ambience of a holiday bookstore is also a whole lot more peaceful than the mess you will find at the malls. Borders specifically is convenient to me, and they do a great job with their stores.

I love Borders. I like to read, but don't read as much as I would like. Books are the great excape into the world of the mystery and unknown.
