This framework has a lot of hype around it, and it is reasonably fun to program in, but there are still some gaping deployment issues. All in all I've found that it doesn't really live up to the level of hype around it.

Developers seem to love Ruby on Rails, but if Twitter is any indication, it doesn't seem to scale well. Twitter is down as much as any popular site that I've ever seen.
