12/16/2006 | Hoffman committed suicide apparently, though his family says that they had noticed no depression symptoms leading up to that moment. He was involved in more than a few community organization projects around the country, and he'd just released his book "Steal this Urine Test."
Hoffman's all time favorite hate letter was published in an earlier book and read: "Just wait until Jesus gets his hands on you, you little bastard!"

12/15/2006 | Nah, years of unhealthy living is what most likely really killed Hoffman. I still get a kick out of hearing Pete Townshend when he LITERALLY kicks Hoffman off the stage at Woodstock. Hoffman had interrupted The Who's set to make a political announcement, and Townshend then yelled at him and booted him off the stage with his foot...
