For a free program, this is excellent. I haven't been without it for years.Yes, it does pick up lots of cookies, but that's okay. I like to get rid of cookies on my machine.

i am really trying to find out why ppl love this so much. its average at best, hell spycatcher express picks up more than this does.this tends to find more cookies than anything.

Good program and for better results update the program and boot into safe mode and then run Ad-Aware.

The free version is an above-average spyware remover. . .worth a look.

Love this program - I remember when I first ran it; it found over four-hundred suspect objects in my files, and once I quarantined them, my system ran so much faster. I like that it allows you to run a Quick-Scan, which only takes a few minutes as it only searches in those places where spyware is most-often found, but it is recommended that you run a Full-System scan at least once a week, which I try to do faithfully. The fact that it's free and very effective makes this one of the easiest five star listings to be found on the site. Download it, if you haven't already. And be sure to update your definitions regularly, if you already do have it.
