I've always had a soft spot for the little prick. Of course, I'm pretty old school when it comes to pitchers. I like the guys who think they own the plate, and aren't afraid to go inside to let the hitters know it. He's one of the best pitchers the Sox ever had on the mound, no matter how you measure it.

Ok, who anonymously gave this guy a 2 ( I suspect some Bronx Bomber devotee) without any objective regard for the guy's pitching? I'm not all that fond of him personally either, but his 1999-2000 seasons are even more ridiculous, as in incredible not ludicrous, than giving him a 2. There is a very, very good case that those years were the best ever in terms of peak performance by a Red Sox hurler ever, especially when considered relative to the rest of the league...
