Seems to be a figure who is rising in prominence in his party, decent speechmaker. One thing I like about the guy is that appearance- wise, he's a bit of a throwback- he has a haircut and a resemblance to the old Dick Tracy villain "Flattop," he wears a carnation, and looks like he'd say things like "Gee, that's just swell " or start talking about bathtub gin and Jack Dempsey- it's good to see that the characters in The Great Gatsby came alive and that somebody was cryogenically frozen duringThe Roaring Twenties and thawed out.

In an upset, Tim Kaine (D) won the position of Governor of Virginia placing it in Democratic Party hands.

Kaine, whose father was an iron worker and welder, grew up in the Kansas City, Missouri, area.

He was mayor Richmond, Virginia, and Lt. Governor of Virginia before his election as Governor.
