Hemingway = idiot. Yes, Faulkner used big words;that's just the way he was. He's hard to read sometimes, but I am always impressed by his genius.

I am an EH fan, but Faulkner was right about Ernest eschewing complicated words.

That really was a strength of Hemingway. He was direct and to the point. People understood and liked his style of writing.
