ItemImageDon't worry; most pet skunks have their squirting sacs removed, so it's impossible to be worried about being hosed around them. Anyways, aren't they just a little bit on the cute side?

I think all creatures are considered great to me !......even the skunk. I knew someone that had one as a pet & they said they were really pretty neat. I'd probably get one if it was possible. LOL

These animals are not made to be pets they don't like strangers or fast movement, i would guess that their food isn't easy to find and they give off a terrible odor, these pets may be found in captive when needed but never keep them as house pets!

My dad grew up on a farm. One time he and his brother found a nest of baby skunks. The proper term for baby skunks may be kittens; I'm not sure. My dad and uncle took them home and descented them. The skunks really are good pets, I guess. They are smart, but you have to protect them if they are descented. Their scent makes them rather bold. Their scent is their chief protection. If they don't have it, they don't have much else for defense.

A de-scented one of course, and adorable as hell. I actually don't know much about them and don't know anyone who does, but I have heard stories that they can be just like house cats. If I can get my hands on a de-scented skunk, I'll adopt it as a pet in a heartbeat.

Having a skunk for a pet, even if they are descented, doesn't semm like a good idea, since they belong outdoors, and plus most cities and states, don't allow exotic animals for pets.

A de-scented one would be a good idea. Don't want that smell in the house. But seeing a skunk in the house might be a good deterrent for a burglar.

De-scented of course. My aunt had 2 of them when I was REALLY little, and they're just like cats. It's a bit harder to little train them than a cat, but they'll certainly use a box once they've learned. Just check with your state about regulations, as most states require permits (assuming you can own them there at all).
