They started in 1983 and now 26 years later they still on the top.Next year 10!!! concerts in the O2 arena in London. Who is better???Listen to the last CD and I think this is what Rock is still about,great voice,great guitar,great drums,perfect melodies...

Sol alot of records to a bunch of teenage girls but otherwise where just another copy cat band in the 80's. Another copy of all 80's hair metal bands, but with a clean wholesome look that they could sell to mom to let thier daughters go to the show

This band doesn't deserve the Hall for all the reasons listed in the bio above. There is absolutely nothing original about their music, it was completely commercialized. Most of it is grating to the ears, and very little of it has stood the test of time, unlike many of the other worthy artists who have yet to be inducted. Having said that, I imagine they will roll out the red carpet for them as quickly as possible to get them in.

They are certainly the most famous and accomplished glam metal band (at least in the 80's), but the style is hated by critics. They'll have to get in for the genre to have a chance.
