I think he is a top player in the nation and Nova has been good enough which, I guess, shouldn't matter, but he is a huge part to their success.

has to be one of the 3 best guards in the country. but the secret's out. unless nova's bench can step up when Scottie gets extra attention (the way they did against providence last week) on a regular basis, the wildcats will struggle in the tourney.

I don't know where Villanova would be this season without Scottie Reynolds. He's not as tough as Kyle Lowry, he's not as pure a shooter as Allen Ray, and he's not as athletic as Randy Foye. But somehow, he can just play. When defenses clamp down, he seems to be the only Nova player who can score. He fell into Villanova's lap when Kelvin Sampson left Oklahoma, and will be largely responsible for them making the tournament this year, despite the loss of three players to the NBA.
