For all that he's vaunted as a terrible outfielder, Manny is actually not as bad as his press notices.

He throws damn well, provided he doesn't forget how many are out, or throw to the wrong base, and he plays the Wall with reasonable skill.

His glove is pretty bad, but what really brings him down is what appears to be sudden and lengthy lapses of attention.

Manny has improved tremendously as a left fielder for the Red Sox.  He might be the best since Carl Yazstremski at playing that wall.  His arm is strong and accurate.  I think Manny gets bored and day dreams when he's not hitting.  Speaking of hitting, what a hitter!  The dictionary reference for professional hitter has his photo next to it.
