 | jeffmcflurry (0) 01/30/2007 | the sec is a tougher conference to play in. any team in the sec has the talent to beat the other. the big 10 had 3 powerhouses ohio state, michigan, and wisconsin. all which were ranked in the top 10. the sec had georgia, tennessee (who did not get owned in their bowl game it was decided in the fourth quarter) auburn, lsu, arkansas, and florida all ranked at the end of the season! plus kentucky went 8-5 as well as south carolina. and had a comeback season along with vanderbilt winning some tough games. and i want to add that 9 sec teams played in bowl games! thats one less team thab there is in the big 10. so, the SEC IS THE BETTER CONFERENCE!

 | louiethe20th (74) 01/14/2007 | Well lets review...Penn State owned Tennessee in the bowl game and OSU dominated Penn State during regular season. Tennessee, if memory serves me correctly, had plenty of chances in their 1 point loss to Florida during the year. Advantage Big Ten. Wisconson defeated Arkansas in their head to head bowl match-up. Advantage Big Ten. Florida over OSU. Advantage SEC. With Florida, LSU, Arkansas and Auburn being the tops in the SEC and OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin and Penn State being the top in the Big Ten I guess advantage SEC. The Big Ten was 2 and 1 against SEC head to head in bowls, but SEC did win the big one.
