Bonds could get a fly ball as well as anyone. His arm was very weak. He won 8 gold gloves so to put him on this list shows how uninformed baseball fans are. He started out as a centerfielder and as far as catching flys he was outstanding. He did have the weakest arm of any gold glove outfielder ever. He probably covered more ground than any leftfielder ever.

Might have rated better if he stayed clean...

Pre-steroid Barry *snicker* was actually pretty good, but the juice has taken him down a notch. He's still better than the true hacks on this list.

Even in his youth, he was clearly an above average outfielder, with his primary weakness being his arm. His range, when he was younger was great, and his glove wasn't bad, which did lead to him winning a couple of Gold Gloves. However, his interest in the game was clearly more focussed on the plate. Now that he's older and slower, he's well below average as a defensive outfielder, but he's a wizard with the glove compared to some of the true butchers on this list.

Okay, I seem to be the last person alive still to like Barry, but I can never forget the fact that a guy whose leg might as well have been broken took two bases on him on the final play of the 1992 NLCS....While Barry has won some Golden Gloves, no one will mistake him for his godfather, Willie Mays.
