No. But I make a point of not going on slick decks when I've been boozing.

No...not on a deck, but I knew some women who fell flat on my dick.

not so much on my face. rear end many times. in Michigan when five months out of the year means walking on icy pavements. I have met with the sidewalk many times. the most embarassing was being dumb enough to run on partially icy pavement while going into a hair salon fell on my rear and someone was opening the door at the same time I slid right in the salon. then I have to stand up and act like nothing happened.

Falling on slick ground is understandable...falling on "non" slick ground because you trip over your own feet...now that's embarrassing....and yes, I have done it!!!

I don't think I've hit my face (at least not lately) but I have fallen and hurt my ribs. I was holding a cup/ thermos and landed on it. It dented the metal and caused me to have a bad day.

I've never fallen on my face, but I've fallen on my hiney, and yes, it was quite embarrassing.

This happened recently, but did not fall exactly on my face, but close enough..I was carrying my tray of food at a restuarant to go sit out on the deck..which was full of people. the end of my heel on one of my shoes got stuck in the space between the boards and they where slip ons so the shoe stayed and I came out of it and went flying food and all.

Slick stairs count? It was my senior year of high school and my friend and I were running late to catch the buses (after school). We were running, not realizing that it was raining outside so once we hit the outside steps we should slow down and prepare for it. We hit those steps and my friend slid right into the back of my heel causing me to go down face first onto the sidewalk of the bus-loop in front of atleast 20 other students....After all was said and done; I managed to rip the knee of my jeans, which caused bruising and lots of scartches to that knee, twisted my ankle pretty bad, scratched up my elbow, and laughed at myself the whole time...was fun, let me tell ya :)

Why yes, I have! I decided to start 2007 out right by starting off with a few assorted injuries. I decided it would be too common to go with New Year's Eve - that being a night simply evvvvry body spends in emergency. No, I waited until a few days in about 10 or so on a Friday evening. I walked out on my deck - slick with rain and a thin covering of moss - and fell first on my wrist which slid sideways to make room for my face to smack into the surface. The result - a broken nose, sprained wrist, bruised right knee and wrenched back. The moral to this story is...beware of sneaky slick surfaces - they don't even have to involve ice. My punishment (besides the pain) is to wear a nose splint everywhere I go for the next week...you can see it on my RIA home page. Posted as a public service to help prevent idiotic accidents.
