Even though I don't really have to be into work until 9:00 in the morning, I still make it a practice to get up at 5:00 every morning. It just makes me feel better.

What does this have to do with maturity? What if someone works nights? I think a sign that someone is growing up is if they don't judge people for silly things like this. :PAnd no one wants to see my crusty ass at 6am, also I'm not a farmer.

Not when you work graveyard shifts.

I would be okay with a night owl maybe they work nights or whatever. as long as they try and not be too loud. during the night. depends on what is going on I guess.

It's not by choice, but it's true.

Nowadays, i don't think I sleep at all. I go to bed late and get up early and i think it's slowly catching up with me.

Many adults keep odd hours, some for employment, some for enjoyment. Many kids rise early to go to school, for that matter...

I truly loved having a bed at 3 wake up at 10 schedule. Now I have a bed at 1 wakeup at 6 schedule which is really a downer.

Oftentimes I did both while still at school, and still continue to do them both, where having to be at work at 7 a.m. for work follows the rare late night out. No sleep whatsoever (so I guess the "getting up from bed" simultaneously with the "going to bed" here do not apply).

This proved evident during the Christmas holidays, when catching up with friends. I was going to bed at 8am almost every day and laughing that I would be at work by now. That was until I got back to work and had to do the 6am wake-up-call-time-for-work thing again, it was a struggle. I looked so tired people thought there was something wrong with me.

Not that I really ever stayed out too late when I was young but, I do have to get up around 6am or I will get a bad headache and feel tired all day.

No denying this.

6 am was the middle of the night for me years back,BC(before children). Now, sleeping "in" might be 8 am on sunday if I'm lucky. Let's see, er, everything all changed when the first baby arrived and 20 years later there's no going back!

(buzzer sounds) Sorry, but I was up at 0430 all the time in the Marines...
