Hall's a spark-plug slugger (gets things going, and occasionally saves the day). Hard to figure where to shove him into the line-up: not consistent enough to bank on singles or doubles at the top of the order, and a damn shame to bury him in the back (although the Brew Crew tends to get amazing use out of the 6-7-8 slots). A keeper in any case, as he's Milwaukee's best-known secret.

Bill Hall's been having a rough couple of months, with a lot of errors charged to him as well as a lot of strike outs. However, when he puts his mind to it, he's a great ball player.
