Given the political environment today, this seems to suggest that we have either immature or, most likely, grossly incompetent people running the show in Washington. Being philosophical and tolerant of different opinions doesn't seem to be the current administrations mainstray, much to their detriment. This tells you that old age either makes you wiser or makes you more stubborn.
