This sauce is not for the faint at heart. I've enjoyed a lot of hot sauces, but nearly everyone hasa flavor that can mask the flavor of what you are eating. Spontaneous Combustion is powerful, requiring only a drop or two in a bowl of stew or chili, and there is very little pepper flavor to interferewith the true flavor I want, that of the disk I'm eating. I just want to add a solid kick to the taste buds, but still have all the flavor of the food. If you want a flavorful sauce, this is the wrong one. If you wanta sauce that kicks butt, this is the one.I take one drop of a sauce on my tongue the first time I try it. Needless to say, I've had several incidentswhere I thought my tongue would burst into flame, but this one... for the first two seconds, it was quitepleasant. After that, it felt like someone was holding the point of a hot soldering iron on the spot whereI put the drop, and trying to drive it through. Whew. It was good! So, I had two drops added to a cupof Machurin Noodles (in the styro cup) and it brought a sweat out on my cheeks. Had a nice littlebite in the back of the throat to go with the sweat. I now regularly add about 8 or 9 drops to such acup of noodles, and it is awesome. I get all the flavor of the noodle and chicken broth, and a realgood kick in the teeth with the heat. I think I'm going to need another bottle soon. I've used justabout half. I rate this sauce among the hottest for heat, low for pepper flavor, very high on the enjoyment scaleand quite good on the bang for the buck.
