02/03/2007 | When I was shopping for digital editing software, it was a toss up between Photoshop Elements and Paint Shop Pro X. Both brands rated very well on various review sites. I tested both and since there was such a close similarity between the two, I went with price over name and chose Paint Shop. I have enjoyed using it and it is quite easy to learn and the tutorials really help. The only drawback is that so many digital editing "how-to" books refer to Elements. But again, since Paint Shop is so similar, it's still easy to figure out.
