Yes. If the Pistons had been there they would have had little problem winning. However, I still don't think it will be easy to say Pistons, you're in the Olympics. We should, but I don't think they'd be willing to. All that can be done is the US should field a group of people willing to go that best represent an actual team.

I think it is either send the NBA champions (or even the NCAA hampions), because they a TEAM, and are used to playing like a team. Or the other option is to do what USA Soccer does, and have an ongoing National team that plays together for two years, then plays in the Worlds or the Olympics. Doesn't have to be the All-NBA team, thye just need to know the game and play it right.

I wish they would get the college age kids a chance to form a team. instead of rounding up the NBA players. this could be something they could do before they went on to NBA Maybe a team of non pros would have more spirit.

I think it would be cool to send the NBA Champions. This would turn the Olympics into the true World Championship of Basketball.
