Tim had a raw talent. He was unafraid and regularly got more out of the car than was thought available. It was his talent and nerve which landed Rick Hendrick major sponsorship, leading to Rick's rise as a NASCAR owner. If Tim had been allowed by NASCAR to continue and had not lost his life at such a young age, he would have battle for many championships. As he matured and settled down his off-track life, he would have become more skillful and savvy on-track, leading to a dominance not seen in some time.
