Why pay for tickets and go to a hockey game with her when I could NOT pay for tickets and NOT be at a hockey game and still spend time with her?

Speaking as a Canadian who likes hockey, and has some small experience of the sport and of women, I have to say this.

Any woman I've ever met who likes hockey enough to go with you on a Friday (or pretty much any other) night, is probably in the puck bunny class. As such, unless you yourself strap on the blades and pick up the axe, you should run, not walk, away from that relationship.
