I definitely don't want to see Favre retire. I think he'll be a good fit for the Vikings.

Its painful seeing him soil his legacy. Hang it up, dude. UPDATE: Oy Vey, the Jets? It keeps getting worse and worse...

Everybody labels him as the interception king, but i myself think the quarterbacks are under alot of pressure. Just think if you were in his shoes people!

The Packers aint gonna win anytime soon so they need to see if Aaron Rogers can play.

Not the first great athlete unwilling to admit that the parade has gone by, and won't be the last. As to diminishing his legacy, that's ultimately a pretty short term memory. Ten years from now the last few dismal seasons will be largely forgotten. After all, who now remembers Joe Montanas last couple of seasons. Besides, his hanging around says more about the Packers' prospects at QB than it does about him.

I love the guy's spirit and love for the game but it is time for him to stop playing (risking serious injury) and to move to the broadcast booth or coaching in some capacity.

There's absolutely no reason for him to continue. He has a credible young backup waiting to be trained to take his place.

Great QB with some superb stats!!!! I agree he should have retired. But I can understand why he wants to play on!!!!!

He did better this year than last year. He should have hung it up after that.
