The former Secretary of Education, Rod Paige called the National Education Association, a union for teachers and education officials, a terrorist organization last year, and also in 2003. Now I don't know about any of you folks, but the last time I checked, schools don't arm students with weapronry, but with educations with knowledge, provide the equipment for future generations of Americans to prosper and grow...not commit suicide bombings. Fortunately, Rod did not make a similar gaffaw in this Republican Convention. Overall, I'd say he did an ok job this time. However, most educators are not likely to forgive Rod anytime soon...as evidenced by the comment seen below.

Yo, Uncle Tom, go out to the Team Room behind the gym and boil some jockstraps. Remember to change the footbath in the showers, too. After that, have your minions in the Department of Education figure out a way to falsify test scores, drop out rates and student grade point averages nationwide, just like you did when you were the Schools Chancellor in that toilet of a city called Houston. Amazing the GOP let this birdbath, this charlatan and phony a speaking slot, given the fact that he got his do-nothing window-dressing job under false pretenses. I guess the rightwing droolers figured this oreo would appeal to the 27 African Americans who happened to tune in this nonsense called a political convention.
