Believe it or not, Arnold had one of the better speeches at the convention. He spoke clearly, and was able to appeal to the common person. He was used to reach out to minorities or those with a foreign background. He would tell them why they thought they should take a chance with the GOP and Bush. Except for his speel on how you are a Republican (even though it was really used to show what people would see as the positive aspects of the party), he gave a well-said and exciting speech that will actually have an impact on some undecided voters.

Arnold is always funny, always engaging, and always worth the price. He is a dopey politician, but California's economy and public works are in the toilet because they keep electing dopes. . .3 stars for pure entertainment value. . .

Arnold's speech was corny, uneloquent, and is without a doubt one of the most uninspiring speeches I have heard in a long time. The Governator has spoken!

As a prominent and ascending republican, his speech was funny and witty. It hit a few points hard verbally but much more important, Arnold, being a social liberal, shows the republican party as one that is no longer so stridently dominated by conservatives. Ron Silver and Zell Miller also make that point. The dem party is drifting, more and more to the left, such that moderates can no longer be heard, even found. Look how dominated their convention was with liberal delegates. How do you reverse that trend?

Slam Dunk! Exposed John Edwards' pathetic and divisive class warfare speech two Americas by speaking from experience about the one America we all live. As an immigrant arriving with not a dime in his pocket and speaking not a lick of english Ah-nuld is living proof that the American dream is alive and well- he has lived three fulfilling lives over and is just getting started! He was hysterical at times. I did a movie called True Lies...thats what we saw up in Boston at the DNC (paraphrasing). Arnold your just a good a politician as you are actor someone said to him. Arnold responds what a cheap shot. LOL He was gripping when he talked about his fears of the Soviets as a child. He exemplified why the Republican party is the party of true ideas and true discourse by simply stating our core beliefs- and how Republicans are the arbitures of freedom and opportunity for everyone who arrives here. For those who wish to lie and distort the Bush economic record and the productivity of this country on a whole he offered up this: don't be economic girly-men! LOL Ah-nuld is living proof of how great America is and his speech was thrilling. If you tuned in yew tu culd huv bun pumped up!

He seems like a good guy. He was very driven and egotistical at first but now seems very driven and helpful. Use you positive power for propitious performance, Arnold!

This was a rally the troops speach and the Governor did an outstanding job. Every thing he said was right on the money and you may not like what he says but you have to admit that he has a very broad appeal.

I used to believe this guy was just a Hummer loving, way over-hyped, actor. But he surprised me. His speech was very in tune to what mattered and really shut up the mouths of many members of the looney left. Overall, a pretty good job!

Go Arnold! I know that many folks probably consider this guy a joke but I wish him all the luck in the world in his political career! This guy is a mans man and you just can't keep him down. He is the perfect example of the American dream at its best. No one can deny that he just seems to succeed at every thing he does. Like it or not, he is a winner. A guy who knows what he wants and achieves it, without asking for help or expecting someone make it easier by changing the rules along the way. Oh..... that sounds like a REPUBLICAN to me! Go Arnold.

This was another great speech! Schwarzenegger's inspiring tale about daydreaming about America was truly amazing. Also, the speech was highly optimistic and very well-done. Line of the speech: Don't be economic girlie men!

I like Arnold, but I feel the characterization of him being the only celebrity in a convention that lacks a celebrity punch is misleading. First, Arnold's current position takes him out of the same realm as those celebrities whom appeared in Boston. Arnold is now in the arena. Second, since when do any of the any celebrities whom appeared in Boston have any more polical credibility than any of the delegates at either convention in Boston and New York? I'm tired of the media outlets who give any credence to the opinions of these blowhards! They have their opinion and are entitled to it. Anyone who is swayed by their opinion and actually views them as a credible political source are ignorant as Hades. Keep yourselves informed and do your own thinking.
