02/27/2007 | It depends on which one is better. Sometimes the present feels better than the past. But if we're struggling (financially or otherwise) then we might get nostalgic.

02/27/2007 | Humans by their nature aren't forward looking. We rely on past precedent in order to govern our present behavior. But is there really any other way? After all, we're here today because of the events of the past. Everything builds from the day's past events.
