there are some things someone could do that is dangerous or hurtful to them or someone else. I would hope they did not do that mistake again. other things like being disappointed or not doing as well as you thought or was embarassed and say never again, I would say give a try again. depends on circumstances. a bad dangerous foolish NO! not doing as well the first time than learn and try again. I would hate to see all those inventors, scientists, and others say that we would be without a lot today.

Because when we suffer the negative and painful consequences of our actions, we are sincere. But when the consequences are gone, we do it again, because we think this time will be different. We are always prone to tempt the devil, and he is always ready and willing to oblige. The stupidity that is within us all. And the devil laughs while we suffer.

With Vudija's permission: Don't know from proverbs, but there's an old Spanish saying that adominishes how, in the animal kingdom, man (woman?) solely among all other creatures, will stumble twice upon the same boulder on the ground.
