02/25/2007 | It's a defense mechanism. It allows us to breath when things get complicated. It's good to reflect on things, and hard to do when you have no time or place to do it. Getting away from it all definitely has it's advantages sometimes.

02/25/2007 | I don't know if another person can understand you as well as you can understand yourself. I'd like to think it's possible, yet my skeptic self always wonders if I'm understood at all.
