Because I'm a sucker for tight harmonies and slick dance steps.

It really depends, but most of the time, I don't see why not.

Because we're human! We can fight any temptation and can win the battle. The more we deny temptations hold on us, the easier it is. Now on the flip size the more we give in, the greater the hold and defeat is in our future.

Because sin is always fun and pleasurable. If it were not so, no one would fall into temptation. Satan is a master deceiver and so many fall into his schemes. But the consequences are always bad. Always. What we saw is what we reap.

Kamy is right on both points. Not all temptation is bad, but for the rest; curiousity definitely plays a part. A lot of people do now and think later; it all depends on what the temptation is as to whether a person will regret their curiousity later.

We're curious creatures. And, besides, not all temptation is bad.

Because we want to have fun, get a thrill, and do things that feel good. In addition, sometimes giving in to a "temptation" requires a bit of guts. I like Mark Twain's comment: "Of all the ways to resist temptation, the surest is cowardice." He knew.

Hard to beat what CS said, I would just add that in some cases it's because mankind just has a propensity for being weak.

. . .because people don't just want to peer off the cliff, they want to know what it feels like to dive and take the plunge. . .

Our temptations are driven by our desires and boy are they wild! Temptation is a forbidden fruit that you crave but afraid to bite into. Even though it may be wrong, we still want to taste what we expect to taste great...and sometimes it is very sweet!
