 | SuKingsANDKnights300 (14) 04/29/2008 | Sometimes we are selfish for some reasons. For example I'm selfish when coming into terms irregularities, and contrary in ideas. IDEAS?....PRINCIPLES?...These are the disciplines where one can find me making a boundary, and build a very high wall that, you can't over jump unless I need you. And if I don't need you then, do not exhaust to need me, unless of course in a given critical situation one may face nearby me, then my instinct may be awakened and told to rescue as a matter of we being humans, and social animals in significant need. My dad used to need me not sometimes, if my triats are subjugating his rules aground. What does it make, when I say, and point at the blue colour and say...this colour is blue, while my son says, it's green, yet it's visibly a blue colour, does not make my son, a son to me any longer, likewise me to my dad.

 | lmorovan (12) 04/29/2008 | We are part of a Creation which, without us, would be incomplete. The need to be needed is simply a desire to occupy the place in that which, without us, would not be complete.

 | kamylienne (77) 02/25/2007 | "Scientifically", I don't know. But, if I were to go off my own feelings, I think I want to feel useful because I feel that, while I'm here, I might as well do something productive.

 | Vudija (92) 02/25/2007 | Everyone has the desire to feel needed. The idea that someone needs us, at least to some degree, usually makes a person feel loved and appreciated. What person doesn't want all of that?

 | Randyman (103) 02/25/2007 | Unless you have some personality disorder, we all have an innate desire to be needed, to some degree. Probably because at our core we are social animals.
