I'm approaching this one with a lot of reservation; it took less than 24 hours for someone to be so "unique" so as to type their entire comment in complete bold or italics, but I've only witnessed it that one occurance so far. With the ability to use all caps, this feature seems to be redundant in its intended goal to emphasize points.

But, then again, maybe I'm just an "old timer" on here who's resistant to change, and I've been wrong about a lot of the changes before (I thought that the weblists were going to be a disaster and the "trusted network" would be horribly misused, but turns out it wasn't the end of the world). So, I guess I'll leave it up to the RIA "youngin's" to prove me wrong yet again. Please don't disappoint me.

Made use of this feature once. Like it lots but must be discriminating so as to not overdo it.

Enough, already. . .if you can't stand on the ability of your language and your ability to make points, then fancy window-dressing-of-words isn't worth a warm bucket of hamster vomit. . .

I was sort of worried when RateItAll rolled this out that people would abuse these features and the reviews would become messy and unreadable with the overuse of formatting. I was also worried that the SEO community would discover this tool, and start dropping spammy links to mortgage and gambling sites. So far, neither of these things have happened (I think it really helps that new users don't immediately get access to this tool), and I think the greater publishing power is a welcome addition.
