If it doesn't matter if you're black or white, then why did it seem like Jackson was trying his hardest to look like a middle aged white woman?

This was getting into the strange years. Not a fan of this song, but I did like the video with all the morphing.

Most of his music wasn't my thing, but I really like the groove to this one. The world peace and racial harmony seemed a little forced and facile (Bob Marley's "One Love" covered the same turf to greater effect with its sincerity and simplicity). But that little guitar hook was undeniably tasty. It also helped that the song didn't run into the ground to the extent that his peak era mega-hits did.
