Guild Wars is awesome. This is slightly miscategorized here because Guild Wars is not an MMORPG. Massive multiplayer implies that you are playing in a persistant world and this game is not that. Everything is instance based. This is one of the funnest RPGs that I've ever played. Definitely worth playing if you're a fan of role playing games.

The main problem I have with the game is ...

The way your character moves is like they are running on ice.

LOTS of invisible walls that stop you from wandering off the road, exploring etc..

You cannot jump either. That includes up and down. If there is a 3 foot ledge you want to get down you are unable to.

Overall, I'm glad this game is free, no one will pay $15 a month like all other MMO's.

Its a good free game...the graphics are pretty good for its age, the community is on the young side, so slightly bothersome to adults, but somewhat family friendly...lots of expansions, with varying gameplay. Quests are not monotonous.

It's alright.  But, it gets a lot of credit for being free play, as opposed to the subscription ones out there (Bumps it from a 3 to a 4 in my case).  My co-worker swore I'd be addicted to it, but after about a month of having it I'm not crazy about it.  Don't get me wrong, it's fun and all, but it's not like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.  I only play with my husband; after seeing all of the scantily-clad characters giggling and chatting, I figure I'm not missing entirely too much on the Guild Wars "social" scene.  Graphics are decent, gameplay is fairly intuitive.  A pretty good starter for people who are getting into this stuff.
