my family owns 2 chicken expresses in texarkana. we strive to make every customer happy from food to customer service. we serve fresh chicken tenders, boned chicken, hotwings, and fish. we also have sides such as fries, potatos, corn nuggets, cheese stix, and jalapeno poppers. we are known for our Sweet`Tea, which has the just right amount of sugar. All chicken tenders come with a biscut and gravy, and fish comes with hushpuppies.
we are very proud of our buisness and hope you come and try it out

They opened one of these recently in Gainesville, Texas and I like it quite bit. The chicken was fresh and tasted great. It was actually a lot like Golden Chick, particularly with the sides and the way everything was packaged, but the chicken had a seasoning to it that made the chicken taste different, and better in my opinion. They do have an odd way of service, with employees coming right out to you in line and taking your order. It does speed things up, but it's on my first trip there I didn't even know what was on the menu and actually felt a little like they were rushing me. Once you're in the loop though, it's nothing to concern yourself with. No matter the service, the taste of the product is worth a five.

UUUGGGHHH!!! I went to Chicken Express one time and wasn't pleased at all. Greasy slop that tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a couple of hours. retch!

Great fried chicken. Moist but never greasy. Serves the usual sides of fries, potatoes and cream gravy, okra, corn, cole slaw, peppers, cheese stuffed jalapenos, etc. Leaves Church's, KFC [gross], et al in the dust. Usual specials such as giant sized chicken tender meals. Latest special was 11 tenders [huge] with cream gravy, real biscuits unlike the greasy things church's serves, and one family side [a huge box of FF, pint of cole slaw etc] for 11.99. Same special with 18 tenders and 2 family sides is 18.99. Excellent chicken and nice folks, but as always, it depends on how each individual restaurant is run and whether they keep fresh chicken out. I've never had a problem because they're usually busy at normal dinner and lunch time. A nice take-out meal for the family that will fill everyone up and it's a better deal for the amount of food than heaven forbid you order Dominos slop.
