I see the Royals making a lot of improvement this year, but their division is too tough for them to be contenders. They overpaid for Gil Meche this offseason, but that shows people that they are attempting to field a better team. In future years other free agents might give KC a better look because of this. They have a good young nucleus with Teahen, DeJesus, Gordon, and Buck, but those guys aren't ready for primetime quite yet.

i think that the royals have the patentchal to win a WS this year there young and have some desent players in M. Sweeny, D. DeJesus, M. Teahen, and M. Grudzalonek. all i think that they will do is improve. Theydo need to bring up Z. Grenkey and get some better pitching though.

Hopefully you can still get good barbeque at the stadium.

Otherwise there's not much good in KC this season.

They're slowly getting better- but the economics of baseball means that this crew are just waiting for Lucy to pull the football away...They have some good young players, but I'd expect a mininum of 90 losses from this bunch: and probably more.
