You've got to figure Jason Bay is second guessing himself for signing that contract with these guys back in '05. If you get past him there's not much offense, and the rotation is suspect at best.

They should be better: they have Jason Bay, some good relief pitchers, and might conceivably be .500 or better for the first time since the early 90's. However, I can't see them finishing higher than 4th in their 6 team division at best. Their starting pitching isn't very good and the hitting overall is nothing special. Plus they play in one of the smallest markets and don't have the resources to truly contend.
