 | Loerke (51) 01/23/2007 | Whoa, as I'm writing this, he gets the same exact rating from RIA (3.47) as his teammate Brad Radke. I like Radke, but he's no better than a No. 2 or 3 starter, whereas Santana already has two Cy Youngs to his credit. I've had him on my fantasy team since 2002, when he was still fighting Gardenhire for a spot in the starting rotation. Santana would be a Hall of Famer already if the Twins, who have one of the worst owners in baseball, hadn't suppressed his talent for a few seasons so that they could avoid having to pay him a larger salary. Even now he doesn't get enough publicity because he plays for a smaller-market team that never makes it onto national TV. I never thought I'd see another pitcher make hitters look as foolish as Pedro, but Johan may be even better.

Makes me glad to be a Twins fan, that's for sure!

 | zuchinibut (41) 12/03/2004 | A unanimous choice for AL Cy Young winner. I think that deserves a 5 rating. The Twins are lucky to have him, and hopefully he will continue his success in the future.

 | magellan (174) 10/06/2004 | Whoa, this guy is a stud. Is by himself a great argument for why the five game playoff series doesn't make any sense. The Yankees are looking at facing this unbeatable guy twice in a 5 game series. Doesn't leave much margin for error.

 | sperryc (30) 09/02/2004 | Slow start this season, but this CY Young contender has more than picked up the slack. Over his past 15 starts, Johan's 13-2 with a 1.66 ERA and a .148 BAA. Most impressive is his strike-out total over that same span: 152 Ks in 119.2 innings of work. If he's not on your fantasy team, I'm sorry.
