It depends a bit on the tattoo, although I'd say a downwards pointing arrow on the belly under the words "Come and Get it!" or "Open Goal" might be a pretty good clue.

At one time it was mostly the easy girls that got tattoos and belly rings. As it usually seems to go, these things became trendy so now we have librarians with tattoos and belly rings.

What it does signal (to me at least) is that the woman is a great follower, not a setter of fashion.

the reason for the belly button ring being suggestive is simple. it's in an area that is usually covered, unless in swim wear, and it is there to draw attention to that area. it says "i want people to look at this part of my body." for tattoos, however, it depends on what it is and where it is.

may depend on how many tatoos they have and what they are. if they have earrings in every place and dress very skimpy to show off everything that may be an add. for come on over. I wonder if sometimes when young they get a tatoo they later regret.
