At one of my old apartments, I was car-less and the only store w/in shooting distance was 7-11. As long as they had that frozen Coke slushee then I was happy.

Around here, these gyp joints are attached to every self service gasoline station.Because they don't sell much of anything I can use, I only go inside when I need to use the facilities.

For something to be a guilty pleasure, it actually has to be a pleasure. I live around the corner from one of these and while their daytime staff are decent their evening and night staff are strictly from hunger. They are without exception, rude, ignorant, lazy, incompetent, crooked (if you give them the slightest chance) and taking every opportunity to slip outside and blaze a two paper joint. Coffee is mediocre at best, the food would gag a goat, and the rest of the shite is grossly overpriced. Who in the hell takes pleasure from this? Guilty or otherwise.

Mmmmm... jumbo cheese dogs and Red Bull. A near perfect lunch!

We don't have 7-11s in SC. However, when I was growing up in East Texas, I loved it when my mom would drop me off at a 7-11 to get an Icee. Ah, memories.

I only go occasionally.

Can't say that I ever thought of going to 7/11 as a "guilty pleasure" ... more of an I'm-out-of-t.p.-and-nothing-else-is-open kind of place. Slurpees aren't as cool when you're grown up.

I only stop at 7-11 and other convenience stores if I have to or if I want just a cup of coffee on the go.

I like 7-11 because it brings back memories of me and one of my sisters being a kids and my dad stopping at 7-11 and letting us get Slurpees. Sucks being so far away from home.
