I like just about every style of music that one can think of. Some I enjoy a little more than others. As far as country music goes, there's only certain artists I will listen to. I like Randy Travis and Kenny Rogers to name a couple. Kenny Rogers not only sings country, but mild contemporary, as well. I think that shows versatility, which in my opinion is true talent.

John Doe and the Sadies' new album 'Country Club' is one of the best albums of 2009 so far, so is Neko Case's 'Middle Cyclone'.

Brad Paisley and Cheryl Crow on the other hand, some of the most painful hack crap I've ever heard.

I occasionally listen to some of the older guys, like Cash & Willie Nelson, but I don't feel the least drop of guilt.

I enjoy country music but not so much the current sound. I prefer guys like Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Marty Robbins, etc. by the way, who took the Western out of Country & Western music?

It's too poppy for my taste. I prefer the old-school country like Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn.

I used to like it but not so much anymore. I get tired of the songs about broken relationships, drinking, trucks and the like. There are some quality talented country artists out there but their message needs to do a 180.

Actually, there was a time in my life that I absolutely couldn't stand anything with the slightest hint of a country sound. But I guess personal tastes are bound to change. I've grown to enjoy a variety of music. Except for metal, of course, which grates on my nerves.

Not a big fan of a country music. There are two kinds of country music, the crossover to pop, the one that I sort of like, and blue grass and yoddling, the one that I really don't like.

I grew up on country music, so I tend to sway that way a lot...but...I tend to like a handful of artists and be done with it. I'm pretty much the same with any genre though.
