80's teen movies 4

I feel pretty much guilty for know this..... but wasn't the film called Teen Witch, or something like that?

My favorite films by the way are Ferris Bueller's Day Off, War Games, The Outsiders, Sixteen Candles, Footloose, and many others.

80's teen movies 4

Can't honestly rate a 'three' or a 'four.' Excluding some obvious titles, a representative list of movies for me might be: 'Fame' (Irene Cara); 'Summer Lovers' (Peter Gallagher, Daryl Hannah); 'The Outsiders' (C. Thomas Howell, Diane Lane); 'Valley Girl' (Deborah Forman, Nicholas Cage); 'Rumble Fish' (C. Thomas Howell, Diane Lane, Nicholas Cage); 'All the Right Moves' (Tom Cruise, Lea Thompson); 'War Games' (Matthew Broderick, Ally Sheedy); 'Streets of Fire' (Michael Paré;, Diane Lane); 'Cloak and Dagger' (Henry Thomas, Dabney Coleman); 'Birdy' (Mathew Modine, Nicholas Cage); 'Racing With the Moon' (Sean Penn, Nicholas Cage, Elizabeth McGovern); 'Sixteen Cadles' (Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall); 'No Small Affair' (Jon Cryer, Demi Moore); 'Tank' (C. Thomas Howell); 'Footloose' (Kevin Bacon, Lori Singer, Chris Penn, Sarah Jessica Parker); 'The Hitcher' (C. Thomas Howell, Jennifer Jason Leigh); 'Short Circuit' (Steve Guttenberg, Ally Sheedy); 'Red Dawn' (C. Thomas Howell, Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, Jennifer Grey); 'Pretty in Pink' (Molly Ringwald, John Cryer, Andrew McCarthy, James Spader, Andrew DICE Clay); 'Dirty Dancing' (Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Grey); 'Mischief' (Doug McKeon, Kelly Preston, Jamie Gertz); 'Quicksilver' (Kevin Bacon, Jamie Gertz; Paul Rodriguez); 'The Lost Boys' (Jason Patric, Corey Haim, Kiefer Sutherland); 'Less Than Zero' (Andrew McCarthy, Jamie Gertz, Robert Downey Jr, James Spader); 'Some Kind of Wonderful' (Eric Stolz, Mary Stuart Marterson, Craig Sheffer, Lea Thompson);and, for good measure, 'Turk 182' (Timothy Hutton), not all of which make the grade, either, but, IMHO, were THERE for the generation coming of age.

80's teen movies 3

for the most part i did not watch too many teen movies from the 80s. I would have been mostly in my 20s and a couple years in my 30s. so they would not be of interest to me. and most of them were pretty bad from the couple minutes I did see. However I will admit that a few were pretty good.  I liked Fasttimes at Ridgemont high, Sixteen Candles and the Breakfast Club.  they were pretty well done and had some talented young actors. freaks me out a bit that those youngsters are now in their 30 and 40s themselves now. How time flies.
