Love the tough, intelligent Spencer. Robert Parker is a great read and the old TV show with Robert Urich was great. The Boston locale is well presented and the cool Hawk is a great sidekick.

Robert Parker's tough, erudite private cop operates in the mean and sometimes not so mean streets of Boston. Together with a sometime ally, a freelance mob enforcer called Hawk, he operates under a self imposed code that is almost chivalric.
