Maynor is a great competitor. He isn't physically imposing, and his shot isn't that great. However, when it comes time to make a play, he is one of the best in college basketball right now.

Maynor is nasty. I've seen him play in exactly two games - in VCU's conference final against George Mason, and against Duke. Each game his team started falling behind at the end of the game, and each game he absolutely took over. He destroyed Paulus down the stretch today.. absolutely dominated him. They say good guard play wins tourney games, and watching VCU topple Duke, it's easy to see why.
